About Temple
Abilene Hindu Temple is a Hindu temple. The temple is also known as Vishveshwara swamy Temple. Lord Shiva who is the main God in Hinduism. The main objective of the temple is to propagate Hindu religion and to perform Hindu rituals.
The temple was built according to the ancient Saiva(Hindu)scriptures and architecture. It was opened on the 11th of August 2017 with a grand ceremony attending more than 70 people.
The Abilene Hindu Temple was chosen by the Dr. Subba Rao Daggubati as part of his wish to recognize each of Abilene’s many faiths.
Abilene Hindu Temple is the first Hindu temple in Abilene,Texas history. Bhawani Anji Reddy and Family From Hyderabad, India spent about 5 days at the temple and a "Special Pooja of blessings" was performed during the visit.
The temple and the devotees of the temple are privileged by the Bhawani Anji Reddy and family's visit.
The temple is located on the popular street 1017 N Mockingbird Ln, Abilene, Texas 79601.
The temple is open 7 days a week. Extended timings will be followed on Festival & Special Auspicious days, Sat & Sun .
The temple welcome all devotees. Devotees must be on strict vegetarian on visit.
